Georgi Agafonov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian-Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce, will take part in the events marking the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence. The cultural and sporting programme is scheduled for 26–30 September 2026.
According to the invitation from the Organising Committee, the programme includes:
- a parade in honour of Turkmenistan’s independence;
- festive horse races;
- the XVI Conference of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association;
- the grand opening of an Akhal-Teke equestrian complex.
The Chamber Chairman’s participation continues the ties between the Bulgarian and Turkmen communities and their interest in Turkmenistan’s cultural heritage. The planned meetings offer an opportunity for professional exchange in Akhal-Teke horse breeding and for strengthening partnerships.
